Who we are
My name is Ernie, and for over 10 years I have been facilitating structured tabletop gaming sessions with individuals of all abilities, including persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Through direct, supported participation in group play, I have seen firsthand how tabletop games can foster meaningful growth in social interaction, problem-solving, communication, and executive functioning.
These sessions are intentionally designed to be structured and inclusive, while still remaining fun and engaging. Participants are guided through cooperative and competitive game scenarios that encourage turn-taking, teamwork, critical thinking, flexibility, and respectful interaction with peers. This is all done within a supportive and judgment-free environment. All sessions are facilitated with intention and active support to ensure a safe and positive experience for every participant.
One of my greatest inspirations is my nephew, Nicholas, who is 21 and on the autism spectrum. He has grown into a confident young adult and now participates in competitive chess at a national level. His journey began through tabletop gaming with peers, where he was supported in learning how to analyze situations, problem-solve, regulate emotions, and navigate social dynamics. Those foundational skills helped him build confidence, independence, and resilience.
Inspired by this success, I created EzVictory to offer facilitated social recreation experiences that use adaptive learning techniques and tabletop gaming to support individuals in developing real-life skills. Through consistent participation, structured guidance, and positive peer interaction, participants learn how to engage socially, think creatively and strategically, win humbly, and just as importantly to lose gracefully.
Sessions are adapted as needed to support different learning styles, communication needs, sensory sensitivities, and social comfort levels. Each group follows a predictable structure that helps participants feel supported, prepared, and confident while honoring individual choice and creativity.
Our goal is to support growth in the everyday skills needed for community participation, independence, and meaningful social connection, while honoring each participant’s unique abilities, interests, and support needs
